Welcome to the second edition of D23 news. This edition focuses on all things movies!
First up, a list of major upcoming movies from all the Disney Studios (and affiliates). This is not a comprehensive list but the ones that were highlighted at D23, in chronological order:

Needless to say, there's a LOT to look forward to! I can't wait for this Fall. Three BIG hitters right in a row! Whoo hoo!
The second big announcement was the long-awaited details on Disney's new online streaming service, Disney+, set to start November 2019.
Quite a bit of information was discussed so I've listed out the ones that will either be released when the streaming service starts, or soon after.
Movies include LOTS of Marvel! Yay! I love that we'll get to continue our journeys with our favorite characters now that Avengers End Game is over.

Star Wars gets some love on the new service, including a Mandalorian movie AND a series focused on Obi-wan Kenobe, played by none other than Ewan McGregor!
Other movies include a live-action Lady and the Tramp (yay!) and an original Christmas movie called Noelle, starring Anna Kendrick.
Next we have lots of series and documentaries!
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (say that ten times fast!
The World According to Jeff Goldbalum - Jeff will pull back the curtains on otherwise mundane objects to reveal scientific insights and history.
Encore! (hosted by Kristen Bell) This reality TV-style show gathers adults who used to do musical theater in high school and has them put on a production.
One Day a Disney - highlights the many roles that cast members play at all Disney locations
The Imagineering Story (produced by Ub Iwerks' granddaughter - he was Walt's partner and first Imagineer) This will be a documentary that goes over the history of Imagineering and then have short weekly clips for 52 weeks. I can't wait!
