ONE. MORE. DAY.

After almost four years, it's finally here! Star Wars Galaxy's Edge opens TOMORROW in Disneyland! The dedication ceremony was last night and cast members and press were allowed early entry. The feedback has been amazing! They all say that Disney outdid themselves. The new land is COMPLETELY immersive, from the decor to the cast members to the Play Disney App. Disney has planned for crowd control with a reservation system in place from now until June 23rd. After that, guests can put their names in a virtual queue to get into the land. I think this is a fantastic idea! Guests can enjoy other parts of the park while waiting to enter GE. For now, there will NOT be any Fastpasses for Smuggler's Run (the Millennium Falcon ride). However we are told the line is immersive, entertaining, and guests will be allowed a "bathroom pass" to leave the line for a bathroom break. Snacks and drinks will also be offered to guests in line. Stay tuned for more details once the land is open tomorrow. I'm sure there will be tons of pictures and videos to share! In the meantime, check out some highlights here from last night's ceremony.
